Volkswagen Group South Africa has opened applications for its Experiential Trainee Programme, offering TVET College students the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while completing the practical requirements for a National N Diploma.
This training programme is hosted within the Learning Academy – Human Resources at Volkswagen’s Kariega plant and is open to qualifying students living in the Kariega and Gqeberha areas.
About the Volkswagen Experiential Trainee Programme
The Experiential Trainee Programme is designed for TVET College students who need hands-on workplace training to complete their logbooks and qualify for a National N Diploma. Trainees will be placed in relevant departments linked to their field of study, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world work environment.

- Start date: 01 March 2026
- End date: 31 August 2027
- On-the-job training aligned to the trainee’s qualification
- Ideal for N6 students looking to build a strong foundation for their careers
Who Should Apply
To be considered for the Volkswagen Experiential Trainee Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have completed an N6 qualification within the past three years
- Be in possession of official N6 results
- Still require practical experience to obtain a National N Diploma
- Have studied or be studying one of the following N6 programmes:
- Business Management N6
- Management Assistant N6
- Financial Management N6
- HR Management N6
- Office Management N6
Added Advantage
- A valid Code 08 driver’s licence will be an advantage
