You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics and warehouse environment. Working alongside experienced operations professionals, you’ll support the day-to-day activities of our Distribution Centre while gaining exposure to inventory management, warehousing, customer fulfilment, and operational processes.

What you will love doing

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Centre.
  • Assist with receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
  • Support inventory management and stock control processes.
  • Assist with stock counts and reconciliation activities.
  • Help ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Support housekeeping and health and safety standards within the Distribution Centre.
  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of operational queries and discrepancies.
  • Support administrative and reporting activities within the operations team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure operational targets and service levels are achieved.
  • Gain exposure to warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations within a national retail business.

What you’ll need to do this role

  • An N6 National Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Public Management, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • An N6 National Certificate in Information Technology, Systems Support, Computer Systems, Technical Support, or a related field.
  • A completed Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information Technology, Software Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Exposure to at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
  • A completed Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • A completed Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a distribution and operations environment.
  • A genuine interest in warehousing, logistics, and supply chain operations.
