Valterra Platinum Limited – formerly known as Anglo American Platinum – is the world’s largest primary producer of platinum group metals (PGMs), commanding around 38% of global platinum supply. Headquartered in Johannesburg, the company conducts most of its operations within the mineral-rich Bushveld Complex and boasts integrated operations from resource extraction to market delivery.
In May 2025, Valterra officially spun off from Anglo American, becoming a standalone entity listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) with a secondary listing in London, marking a new chapter in its corporate journey.
