Deloitte, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, is inviting applications for its structured Human Resources (HR) Internship Programme. This exciting 12-month opportunity, funded by FASSET, provides unemployed graduates with valuable workplace experience, mentorship, and a monthly stipend to support their career journey in Human Resources.
About the Programme
As an HR Intern at Deloitte, you’ll work alongside a dynamic team and gain exposure to various areas of Human Resources. This programme is designed to build your skills, enhance your knowledge, and prepare you for a successful career in HR.
Key Focus Areas
- Talent Acquisition: Assist with recruitment activities, from posting job adverts and screening CVs to scheduling interviews and supporting onboarding processes.
- Learning & Development: Help organise training sessions, track learning outcomes, and support the roll-out of learning initiatives.
- HR Operations: Maintain HR records and databases, provide administrative support, and ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to engagement initiatives, assist with company events, and support internal communications.
- Special Projects: Gain exposure to diverse HR projects across the employee lifecycle and broader HR strategy.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- National Diploma, BTech, or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management
- Currently unemployed and not studying full-time
- Commitment to the full 12-month internship
- Must not have previously participated in an internship programme
Skills and Attributes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word essential; advanced Excel advantageous)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Confident communicator with effective stakeholder management skills
