Description
The primary objective of the P1/P2 Work Integrated Learning Programme is to equip learners with the practical, on-the-job experience required to complete their academic qualifications and prepare for careers within the mining and minerals sector.
Learners from Universities of Technology will be placed at Richards Bay Minerals, where they will participate in a structured workplace-based learning programme aligned with their respective institutional requirements. This programme is designed to provide meaningful exposure and support the development of both technical and professional competencies within a dynamic operational environment.

Requirements
- Unemployed South African youth
- Final year student with the University of Technology
- Grade 12/Matric
- Must not have undergone Work Experience (P1/P2 or Vacation Work) before, whether SETA funded, or company funded.
- National Driver ’s License minimum Code B
- P1 P2 must be a requirement in order to graduate
- Domicile address must be within the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, KwaZulu Natal.
