This 12-month opportunity is based in Kempton Park, South Africa, and offers hands-on training in the maintenance and rebuild of mining machinery.

About the Artisan Bridge Learnership
As an Artisan Bridge Learner, you will receive in-depth product training and practical work experience in Sandvik’s mining equipment rebuild and maintenance operations. The programme is designed to build your technical expertise and make you more competitive in the mining and engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow the terms and conditions of the employment agreement.
- Perform all assigned tasks diligently and professionally.
- Follow lawful instructions and company procedures.
- Work towards achieving all competencies outlined in the training plan.
- Participate in all required training and assessments.
- Maintain and present your training records when required.
- Uphold Sandvik’s values and safety standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science, or an equivalent qualification.
- N2 Engineering Studies – compulsory.
- Qualified Millwright (required).
- Electricians will also be considered.
- Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate with Portfolio of Evidence (POE), proof of modules or apprenticeship completion – compulsory.
- Physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment.
- Proof of vaccination certificate must be attached to your application.
