PG Glass Training Programmes Now Open for Applications
PG Glass, the leading supplier of auto glass and building glass replacement services in Southern Africa, is building a talent pool for future employment opportunities through a range of youth development programmes. With more than 110 Fitment Centres across the region and a 24-hour contact centre, PG Glass offers young people valuable workplace exposure in a well-established organisation.
These opportunities form part of PG Glass’s commitment to skills development through programmes such as the YES Programme, Learnerships and Graduate Internships.
Available Training Opportunities
PG Glass is recruiting candidates for the following trainee and internship roles:
Contact Centre Trainee: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, emails and other communication channels while delivering excellent customer service and resolving queries efficiently.
Autoglass Trainee: Gain hands-on experience installing, repairing and replacing automotive glass, with a strong focus on technical skills, accuracy and service quality.
Customer Service Consultant: Support Fitment Centre operations by managing front-desk services, assisting customers, processing sales and ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
Human Resources and Finance Trainee: Provide administrative and operational support within the HR and Finance departments.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Matric qualification.
South African citizenship.
Between 18 and 29 years old.
Currently unemployed.
Not previously registered on a YES4Youth programme.
No criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant qualifications will be advantageous, including:
Diplomas or degrees in Business Management, Operations Management, Retail Management or Marketing Management.
N6 qualifications in Management Assistant, Business Management, Office Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Studies (Fitting and Turning), Human Resources Management, Financial Management or Call Centre-related studies.
Skills and Competencies
Successful candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent computer literacy, attention to detail, organisational ability and a commitment to delivering efficient customer service. A valid driver’s licence is advantageous but not required.
