Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kido Kids, as a Teaching Assistant. You will support our experienced teachers in providing high-quality education and care to our young learners.
Responsibilities:
– Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
– Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
– Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development in children
– Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement activities
– Keep inside and outside play areas clean and sanitized, help children with feeding, nappy changing and toilet routine, fluently in Afrikaans
Requirements:
– Relevant Early Childhood Development (ECD) qualification (e.g., N4 Diploma)
– 1-2 years experience working with baby’s 3months-24 months
– First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a team environment
– Passion for working with young children
