The learnership is based at 1 Ameshoff Street in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

What Will the Liberty Learnership Cover?

The Liberty Learnership Programme will expose participants to various areas of employee benefits and financial services.

Participants will develop knowledge and skills in areas including:

  • Understanding financial and regulatory frameworks
  • Employee benefits administration
  • Group risk benefits
  • Operations and business processes
  • Resolving member and employer queries

Liberty Learnership Requirements

Applicants must have a Matric qualification and meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Must have achieved at least 60% for Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
  • Must have achieved at least 60% for English.
  • Must currently be unemployed.
  • Must not be registered for another learnership.
  • Must not currently be studying at another institution.

Skills Required

Applicants should have an interest in financial services and be willing to learn and develop professionally.

The technical competencies required for the Liberty Learnership include:

  • Data management and administration
  • Risk awareness
  • Written communication

The programme aims to equip young people with core and critical skills while giving them practical experience in a professional financial services environment.
