There are 14 different internships available in the different departments at the Housing Development Agency. Not only will you be supporting the work of providing housing for the community, you’ll also be getting valuable work experience and a monthly stipend payment.
The Housing Development Agency (HDA) is a national public sector development agency that buys and develops land for use in housing. As well as developing the land they also project manage the development of housing and human settlements.
The HDA carries out their activities in partnership with a range of stakeholders including national, provincial and local government and municipalities, as well as with communities, developers, financiers and other affected parties. The Agency was started in 2009 and is established by an Act of Parliament in 2008. The HDA reports through its board to the Minister of Human Settlements.

Details of the Internship
These are 12 month internships and they pay R90,000 for the full year. The internships are for people who live in Joburg and should be for unemployed youth who have not been on an internship.
