About The Legal Internship Programme
The Legal Intern role focuses on assisting with pension fund complaints lodged in terms of the Pension Funds Act, 24 of 1956.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on exposure to legal administration, investigations, legal drafting and complaint resolution processes.
Interns will also work closely with team leaders and engage with complainants and relevant parties throughout the investigation process.

Legal Internship Duties And Responsibilities
Successful interns will be responsible for:
- Assisting members of the public with lodging complaints
- Drafting and sending legal correspondence
- Following up on complaints and responses
- Investigating pension fund complaints
- Drafting determinations according to workflow procedures
- Managing administrative aspects of complaint files
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Requesting investigation reports and supporting documents
- Engaging with parties involved in complaints
- Submitting weekly and monthly statistics to team leaders
The role also involves maintaining organised records of emails, telephone calls and complaint documentation.
