Discovery has launched the NextGen Adviser Academy (DNAA), a structured internship and development programme designed to equip young professionals with practical skills and real-world experience in financial advice and client engagement.
This internship is based in Sandton and Pretoria, and is aimed at unemployed youth living in Johannesburg and Tshwane who are eager to grow within a dynamic business environment.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Discovery NextGen Adviser Academy Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Be between 18 and 30 years old
• Hold a National Diploma or Degree in Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• Have strong communication skills
• Demonstrate confidence and professionalism
• Be willing to learn and grow
• Show resilience, drive, and a client-focused mindset
• Display commercial awareness and entrepreneurial potential
• Not have previously participated in an internship or learnership programme
• Be unemployed at the start of the programme
