Internship Overview
Job Title: Assessment Coordinator Intern

Purpose of the Role
The Assessment Coordinator Intern will support the coordinated implementation, tracking and reporting of distance and flexible learning (DFL) assessment processes. This role is ideal for candidates who are highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with data and systems.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements:
• Higher Certificate in Office Administration or Management Assistant
• A relevant Business or Education qualification will be an advantage
Experience:
• No prior work experience is required
• Experience with assessment, training or proctoring systems will be beneficial
• Strong Excel skills are essential, including managing and tracking documents and spreadsheets
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will assist with coordinating assessment development and moderation processes, setting timelines and ensuring assessments are released on schedule. Responsibilities include monitoring assessment timelines, providing consolidated feedback, managing daily assessment-related queries and ensuring timely resolution.
The role also involves sourcing assessment briefs from faculties, conducting readiness checks, reviewing assessments on online platforms, supporting users of the online assessment system and assisting with quality checks to ensure alignment between module briefs and gradebooks.
Additional duties may include administrative support and participation in ad hoc projects such as module mapping.
