Chemical Operator Learnership Responsibilities
Learners accepted into the programme will be expected to:
- Participate in all training activities and assessments
- Assist with operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant
- Complete workplace logbooks and assignments
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Adhere to Rheinmetall Denel Munition policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards relating to safety, health, environment, quality and energy management
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with English and Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Physical Science or Physics in Grade 12 will be advantageous
- Be between 18 and 35 years old
- Be a South African citizen
- Be willing to work in an explosive manufacturing environment
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality and continuous learning
