What Is the PepsiCo Apprenticeship Programme?
This apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with structured classroom-based learning. Apprentices will gain both the practical and theoretical skills required in their designated trade.
At the end of the programme, apprentices will be required to complete a Trade Test at an accredited Trade Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Undergo learner readiness (pre-learning) assessments when required
- Participate in the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment process
- Complete gap training and prepare for the final Trade Test
- Attend all scheduled training classes
- Submit assignments within the agreed deadlines
- Successfully complete all classroom training and practical components
- Maintain full attendance and fulfil learner responsibilities
- Co-sign a letter of commitment to the training programme with the line manager
- Communicate any learning concerns to the course facilitator and HR
- Sign and comply with the Learning Programme contract
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- N3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
