The Airports Company is charged with running most our major airports across the country and now they are looking for candidates for Learnerships at 9 of these locations nationwide – and at head office.
Airports Company South Africa is looking for enthusiastic young people to take part in Learnerships they are running at their airports. Candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 34 to qualify for these Learnerships, which will run from up to 18-months.
Their Learnership is a first step towards a careers in the aviation/transport sector and will allow the learners to develop skills and expertise that will help them develop successful careers.
Candidates will be entered onto either the Further Education & Training Certificate: Fire and Rescue Operations NQF 5, or for the National Certificate: General Security Practices – NQF 3. On successfully completing the Learnerships the candidates will be awarded one of these qualifications.
Learners on the Learnership will receive a monthly stipend while they are on the programme.
70% of the time on the programme will be working on the practical components of the training at the relevant departments. 30% will be theoretical training that is presented either at the premises or directly with a training provider.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Learners must have Grade 12
Unemployed applicants
South African citizens
Must be between the ages of 18-34 years
Physical and medical fitness for (Fire and Rescue)
Have no criminal record
