Technical Sales Representative – Letsitele
We are looking for a sales agent in the Limpopo area for our fertilizers.
Preferably the successful incumbent must reside in the Letsitele or Hoedspruit area. We would like to appoint somebody that is well known in the area and that knows the farms and farmers in these areas, rather than appointing a completely new or strange person to an unknown area.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Agricultural degree and background/ Farming experience will be highly beneficial
- The incumbent must have his/her own transport and a valid driver’s license
- Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in Agricultural sales
- Advantages: Technical and/or Sales experience in chemical or fertilizer company.
- Marketing experience will be advantageous
- Strong administration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Keep management appraised of regional activities.
- Computer literate
- Willingness and ability to travel
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients within the designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Provide product as well as crop knowledge in order to provide technical support to clients.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Keep accurate records
- Meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay updated on various crops in the area and any new technologies.
