AECOM: P1 / P2 Graduate / Internship Programme 2026 / 2027

AECOM SA (Pty) Ltd invites applications from currently enrolled National Diploma students in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering who are required to complete their P1 and/or P2 practical training as part of their qualification requirements. The intern will be exposed to a live, complex infrastructure project and will be supported by a qualified supervisor throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying at a recognised University of Technology. Must require P1 and/or P2 practical training as a formal component of the qualification.
• Currently enrolled in a National Diploma in Civil Engineering at a recognised University of Technology. Must require P1 and/or P2 practical training as a formal component of the qualification.
• Must be in good academic standing. Applicants must submit their most recent academic transcripts with their application.
• No prior work experience required. Tertiary-level knowledge and coursework is sufficient.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Exposure to CCS Candy, ASAQS-compliant software, or any quantity surveying measurement software is advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Must be available for the full duration of the placement (6 or 12 months) as confirmed by the University of Technology.

Additional Information

A monthly stipend will be provided in accordance with the CIDB Standard for Developing Skills Through Infrastructure Contracts (April 2026).
