About the Human Resource Recruitment Internship
The Human Capital team is looking for a Recruitment Intern who is passionate about working with people and delivering an excellent candidate experience.
The successful candidate will support recruitment activities, administrative processes, and onboarding initiatives while gaining practical exposure to the Human Resources field.
Interns will enter into a 12-month fixed-term internship agreement and receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.
Internship Duties and Responsibilities
As a Recruitment Intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Posting job advertisements on internal and external recruitment platforms.
- Sourcing potential candidates through online channels such as LinkedIn.
- Screening CVs and shortlisting suitable applicants.
- Conducting initial candidate screening calls.
- Scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicating with applicants throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintaining recruitment databases and tracking systems.
- Preparing interview packs and recruitment documentation.
- Assisting with onboarding processes for new employees.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for the OUTsurance Recruitment Internship, applicants must have:
- Matric or an equivalent qualification.
- A completed Degree or Diploma in one of the following fields:
- Human Resources
- Industrial Psychology
- Labour Relations
- BCom Law
- LLB
- Generic Management
- Business Management
- Related qualifications
INSETA Internship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must also meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Be unemployed for at least the last two months.
- Not have previously participated in an INSETA-funded internship or learnership programme.
