About The Rheinmetall HR Internship
The successful Human Resources Intern will support the HR department with daily administrative duties and HR-related activities. The programme is designed to provide hands-on experience and help graduates build a strong foundation for a career in Human Resources.
Interns will work closely with HR professionals and contribute to recruitment, employee administration, onboarding processes, and various HR projects.
HR Internship Responsibilities
As part of the internship programme, candidates will:
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- File documents and respond to employee and client queries.
- Screen CVs and application forms to identify suitable candidates for vacancies.
- Schedule interviews and confirm candidate availability.
- Assist with the onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Coordinate business arrangements, including meetings, travel, accommodation, functions, refreshments, and visitor programmes.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required.
- Perform general HR-related administrative duties.
- Ensure compliance with Rheinmetall Denel Munitions policies, procedures, and ISO standards relating to Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, and Energy.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Rheinmetall HR Internship, applicants must have:
- An NQF Level 6 qualification in Human Resources or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Good planning and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
