OUTsurance Learnership Programme for Unemployed Youth
OUTsurance is offering an exciting Learnership opportunity aimed at unemployed youth who are eager to gain practical work experience and build a career in the financial and insurance sector. This structured, work-based programme is designed to provide valuable workplace exposure while developing essential skills for future employment.
The Learnership focuses on call centre operations and is ideal for young people who are passionate about customer service and want to pursue a long-term career in the insurance industry.
About the OUTsurance Learnership
Successful candidates will enter into a fixed-term Learnership agreement with OUTsurance. This is not a permanent employment contract, but a skills development opportunity that includes a monthly stipend of R12 000.
The programme combines practical, on-the-job experience with formal training to support learners in developing relevant workplace competencies.
Working Hours and Training Structure
Learners will work shifts according to a predetermined roster, which includes:
Friday to Monday shifts of 9 hours
Saturday shifts of 8 hours
Sunday shifts of 5 hours
Two weekdays off, which may fall on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
One day per week dedicated to full qualification training conducted on site
Public Holidays
Learners may be required to work on South African public holidays if scheduled, unless the holiday coincides with a UK public holiday.

Minimum Qualifications
Matric certificate
Basic computer literacy, including MS Office
No prior work experience required
INSETA Learnership Requirements
To qualify for this INSETA-registered Learnership, applicants must:
Be a South African citizen
Be between the ages of 18 and 35
Have been unemployed for the past six months
Not have participated in an INSETA Learnership previously
