The City of Johannesburg is committed to providing work-based training for students who can now work in the Integrated Planning, Policy and Research department.
The primary function of this internship is to provide analytical, research, and coordination support to the integrated Planning,
Policy and Research (IPPR) Directorate within the department of Community Development.
Develop practical skills in policy strategic planning performance monitoring, and data analysis to enhance evidence- based decision- making. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of departmental policies and performance framework that support effective governance and service delivery across the department.
• This internship opportunity is applicable to youth in the Johannesburg communities, who qualify for this internship and have never participated in an internship programme before, except in circumstances where the internship programme was not relevant to the candidate’s course of study
• This Vacancy is open to all qualifying STUDENTS in the Johannesburg Community for a period not exceeding 18 months
- Matric/Grade 12 (NQF level 4) plus a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 7) in Public Management, Development Studies, Political Studies or related field;
