There are four SETA internship programmes available now at MQA, based in various company departments. The monthly stipend is more than R9,000 per month.
SETA internships are available now for South African citizens to take part in these 24-month internships at the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
The MQA would like to invite qualifying individuals to apply for internship opportunities that are currently available. Unemployed individuals who have never participated in an internship programme are invited to apply. The successful intern will be appointed for a period of twenty-four (24) months. This opportunity is available to South African Citizens only.
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) is a Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) that facilitates skills development under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), and supports mine health and safety under the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) for the mining and minerals sector under Skills Development Act (SDA) 97 of 1998 and Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) 29 of 1996, respectively.
