Alpla Mechatronics Apprenticeship Programme: Applications Now Open
Alpla South Africa is inviting motivated and ambitious individuals to apply for its 4.5-year Apprenticeship Programme. This structured training opportunity is based at the company’s Lanseria facility and is designed to equip participants with the technical and professional skills needed to build a career in a global manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while completing structured training in your chosen trade. Over the course of the programme, you’ll develop technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and workplace skills that will prepare you for a successful career in engineering and manufacturing.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Alpla Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Grade 12/Matric with at least 50% in Mathematics (Maths Literacy not accepted) and 50% in Physical Science
• Completed engineering studies with relevant trade theory in N2–N3 Mechanical or Electrical
• Alternatively, NCV Level 2–4 engineering studies at a TVET college
• N3 or higher in Engineering studies will be an added advantage
• Applications must include a CV with a statement of results or qualifications

Plastics Apprenticeship
6 positions are available on the Plastics Apprenticeship which runs for 4 years.
Requirements For Plastics Apprenticeship
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics > 50% (Maths-literacy not applicable) and Physical Science >50%.
- Engineering studies with relevant trade theory in N2-N3 Mechanical / Electrical.
- NCV Level 2-4 related engineering studies at a TVET college.
- N3 and above in Engineering studies will be advantageous.
- CV’s with statement of results or qualifications will be considered.
