The Tiger Brands Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP) offers a structured, 24-month journey designed to fast-track bachelor’s and BTech graduates into leadership roles within one of South Africa’s leading FMCG companies.
Participants in this enhanced development initiative are placed across diverse business disciplines, where they benefit from a carefully crafted combination of on-the-job learning, mentorship, and formal training modules. By the end of the programme, Future Leaders will have acquired the practical skills, strategic insight, and cross-functional experience required to take on critical positions within Tiger Brands.
Ideal applicants for the Future Leaders Development Programme demonstrate a genuine commitment to building a long-term career in the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Candidates should have recently completed their third or fourth year of tertiary study at an accredited institution, achieving a strong academic record throughout their qualification.
In addition to academic excellence, successful FLDP participants will have exhibited creativity and initiative during their studies, with no more than one year of full-time work experience in their field (excluding internships or workplace learning).
Future Leaders must also possess solid computer literacy—particularly in MS Word and Excel—and a valid driver’s licence to accommodate site visits and cross-departmental rotations. Throughout the two-year programme, each graduate will receive ongoing coaching, access to leadership workshops, and meaningful project assignments, all aimed at equipping them with the capabilities to drive innovation and growth within Tiger Brands.
