Are you a graduate looking for your first-time job experience? Spar has some exciting intern positions.  This is a great opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in a dynamic retail environment.

Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in the retail sector? SPAR Rink Street Kwikspar in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape, is offering a 12-month Internship Programme for motivated and hardworking young South Africans.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in either Human Resource Management or Cost and Management Accounting within a dynamic retail environment.

 

Available Internship Fields

The following internship opportunities are currently open:

  •     Diploma in Human Resource Management
  •     Bachelor of Commerce in Cost and Management Accounting (applicants must be able to do costing)

These roles are ideal for graduates who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for the SPAR Rink Street Internship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  •     Be a South African citizen, aged 18–27 years
  •     Have a relevant qualification in Human Resources or Cost & Management Accounting
  •     Be fluent in English
  •     Be friendly, honest, energetic, and self-motivated
  •     Have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and under pressure
  •     Be willing to work retail hours, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  •     No prior work experience is required – this internship is for unemployed graduates
