This 24-month internship is tailored for young, ambitious engineering graduates who are passionate about contributing to sustainable water resource management and innovation. Hosted by the Rand Water Academy Technical School, the programme offers structured training, practical experience, and mentorship to develop future leaders in water engineering.
What the Programme Offers

- Wastewater Technology
- Digital Technology and Innovation

Who Should Apply?
Minimum Qualification Required:
A Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in one of the following:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Additional Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be unemployed and have no prior work experience related to the qualification
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid South African ID
- Must be under the age of 35, aligning with the National Skills Development Strategy III
- A Code 08 driver’s license is advantageous but not compulsory
