National retail chain Shoprite is a popular employer and their Retail Readiness Programme is specially designed for people who don’t have experience but want to build a successful career in retail.
The Retail Readiness Programme is a skills programme that provides young people, who are without previous work experience, with the basic skills to work in a retail environment.
It comprises of five weeks of practical training and two weeks of theory, and successful participants receive a NQF level 3 qualification upon completion.
Who Can Apply
South African youth between 18 and 34 years with no previous work experience.
Requirements
A South African Matric or an equivalent qualification.
