We currently recruiting a Receptionist To provide reception duties and basic admin support South Africa office and sites ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to all colleagues.
MUST be currently living in Cape Town!!!
Location : Onsite – CBD
Responsibilities
Answering the telephone in a prompt and professional manner – being the voice of the company.
• Reception and hospitality of visitors to the office.
• Responsible for making domestic business travel arrangements mainly via the use of an online booking tool (flights, car rental, accommodation, visa support etc.)
• Responsible for mail and courier services and monthly recons of these accounts.
• Assist the Administration & Internal Communications Manager with a variety of tasks not limited to data capturing, reporting, credit card statement recons, office maintenance & cleaning, parking, catering quotes, staff gifts, small staff meetings & events (in-office), insurance claims, invoice processing etc.
• Travel support – hertz gold cards, simple domestic travel bookings / relief travel booking
• Assistance with the implementation of new office procedures and processes.
• Management of the website responses
• Maintain the shared calendar.
• Administer access cards in conjunction with IT Support Technician.
• Update Office registers as required i.e., Fire Drill List, Contact List, WhatsApp Groups, Inventory, birthdays, org chart, access card & parking register etc.
• Uber for Business – monthly reporting
• Petty cash control.
• Maintain office supplies.
• Storeroom control
• Provide general administrative support to all staff e.g., typing, copying, scanning, binding, laminating, filing etc.
Qualifications
Matric (Gr 12) or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years’ working experience in a frontline/reception role.
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner with the ability to write clear, grammatically correct communications to internal and external contacts in both English and Afrikaans.
Good typing speed (40-60 wpm).
Computer literate – Microsoft Office packages e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Comprehensive travel booking experience, both domestic and international.
Salary :Rate – R50 per hour
Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)
Contract till end of the year
