Rand Refinery is inviting applications for its Commercial Graduate Programme, offering a Legal Graduate opportunity for young professionals who want to gain valuable workplace experience in the legal field.
The 18-month graduate development programme is aimed at recently qualified graduates under the age of 30. It is designed to help young professionals transition into the workforce by providing structured training, mentorship and practical work experience.
Graduates will gain exposure to the organisation’s business value chain and interact with various stakeholders across multiple functional areas within the company.

The Commercial Graduate Programme is structured to equip graduates with the skills and experience needed to succeed in a professional environment. Minimum Requirements
- A completed Matric certificate.
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) qualification with an overall average of at least 70%.
Documents Required For Application
Applicants must submit the following documents when applying:
- A two-page CV.
- Certified copy of a South African ID document.
- Certified copy of the Matric certificate.
- Certified copies of academic records and qualification certificates.
- A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet summarising overall marks per subject or module to confirm the required 70% aggregate.
Please note that applications submitted without the Excel document will not be considered.

Applicants must follow these steps when preparing the spreadsheet:
Step 1: List all completed subjects or modules.
Step 2: Add the marks obtained for each subject or module.
Step 3: Add the total marks together and divide by the total number of subjects or modules to calculate the overall average.
