These internships are designed to provide practical work experience to students who are in their final year of study (2025), or to recent graduates who have completed their qualifications and are seeking workplace exposure. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month internship contract, starting on the 02 February 2026 and ending 31 January 2027.

This post is based in Goodwood, Cape Town.

INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE:

1) Digital Sales Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Pre and post-sale digital support
  • Onboarding of customers
  • Digital training (internal staff)
  • Planning and execution of virtual workshops and webinars
  • Virtual selling
  • Management of digital 3rd parties
  • Data management
  • Qualifying leads for new business
  • Following up with customers telephonically to convert open quotations

2) Sales Enablement Internships

The Sales Enablement Intern will support the Sales Enablement team by managing and analysing campaign and project data, generating insightful reports, and assisting in the execution and tracking of sales initiatives. This role is ideal for a data-driven individual with a passion for visual storytelling and project co-ordination.

This post is based in Goodwood, Cape Town.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Data Management

        Collect, clean, and analyse data while creating and maintaining dashboards (in Salesforce, Power BI and Excel).

  • Data Analysis

        Identify trends and insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Project Management

       Work cross-functionally and assist in planning, tracking, and executing sales campaigns and enablement projects within project timelines

  • Reporting

       Develop post-campaign and post-project visualisation reports that communicate performance and insights effectively

  • Enablement Support

       Support the broader sales team through implementation of the Sales strategy

3) Customer Service Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide an efficient and on time response to inbound calls and to process orders so that customer needs are met
  • Answer calls in line with set standards to resolve customer queries
  • Handle customer call courteously, efficiently, and promptly
  • Receive product training to be able to promote products to customers
  • Follow up with internal teams on customer queries
  • Communicate progress of queries to customer
  • Provide requested documentation to customer e.g., backorder reports, proof of deliveries, price lists etc.

4) Marketing Insights Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Data analysis and performance measurement through generation of post campaign reports
  • Help update and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
  • Participate in A/B testing setup and basic analysis
  • Social media and website monitoring and reporting (including competitor activities and wider trends in the education sector)
  • Supporting the implementation of the data strategy to gain customer insight through data clean-up and transferring data between platforms
  • Support market research efforts, including competitor analysis and audience behaviour studies
  • Experiencing being a team player in a fast-paced, future-focused, high performing Marketing department
  • Assisting the broader marketing team with planning and execution of promotional campaigns, events and exhibitions
  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and supporting campaign execution

5) Digital Marketing Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the execution & implementation of a variety of digital marketing and social media campaigns
  • Develop creative and copy assets for digital and social channels
  • Assist with upkeep of digital platform hygiene across emailer platforms, WordPress, and WhatsApp for Business to name a few
  • Co-own the social media marketing monitoring and reporting process, i.e. input into local and global reporting
  • Own the ongoing and consistent updating of competitor audits & analysis and wider trends in the education sector

6) Finance Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Have a broad understanding of how the Africa Finance team functions as a whole
  • Know in detail each component of the Finance function by working in each department
  • Have a working knowledge of SAP
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft suite of programs
  • Be able to present a topic to various audiences within finance and across other areas of the
  • business
  • Exposure to multiple departments: Accounts Payable and Receivable, Treasury, Royalties, Taxation, R2R and Commercial

7) Dictionaries Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Publishing end-to-end processes for dictionaries
  • Editing and proofreading principles
  • Book design and production
  • Project management and scheduling
  • Budget management
  • Commissioning freelancers, contracts, rates
  • Artwork sourcing (photographs and illustrations) if applicable
  • The use of specialised technical systems, such as dictionary workbench software and corpus software to produce dictionaries and related datasets

8) Languages (Sesotho Languages) Internship

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Publishing end-to-end processes for the Sesotho Languages (Sepedi, Setswana, and Sesotho Language titles)
  • Editing and proofreading principles
  • Book design and production
  • Project management and scheduling
  • Budget management
  • Commissioning freelancers, contracts, rates
  • Artwork sourcing (photographs and illustrations)
  • Digital Publishing i.e. ePubs, online course material etc.
