Heineken Beverages Learnership 2026: NQF Level 3 Packaging Operations

Heineken Beverages is inviting applications for its NQF Level 3 Packaging Operations Learnership Programme based at the Wadeville Manufacturing Plant.

This learnership offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to gain practical experience in manufacturing and production, while developing valuable technical skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.

About The Heineken Learnership Programme

The programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and hands-on skills required to operate and maintain packaging processes within a production plant.

Upon successful completion, learners will be competent in various production processes and will gain a recognised NQF Level 3 qualification in Packaging Operations.

Key Learning Areas

Participants will receive training and practical exposure in the following areas:

Filling and date coding processes.

Sealing, labelling, packing and unpacking operations.

First-line maintenance of equipment.

Problem-solving techniques within a production environment.

Application of health and safety regulations.

Quality control across all packaging processes.

Asset management within a manufacturing setting.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

A Matric (Grade 12) certificate with Mathematics or relevant N-level qualifications.

A strong technical orientation and interest in mechanical or production environments.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of safe working procedures.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Advantageous Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with a tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Additional Information

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a formal assessment as part of the selection process.

Successful applicants must be willing to work shifts and extended hours when required.
