Value Group has opened applications for its 12-month Supply Chain Practitioner Learnership, offering unemployed youth in the Western Cape the opportunity to gain an Occupational Certificate in Supply Chain Practitioner at NQF Level 5.
This learnership forms part of Value Group’s commitment to improving access to education and skills development in the logistics and supply chain sector. Successful applicants will receive structured training and workplace experience aimed at improving employability.
Learnership Details
The Supply Chain Practitioner Learnership will run for one year, from 2 March 2026 to 28 February 2027.

About The Learnership Programme
This structured learnership combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience in a real operational environment within the logistics and supply chain industry.
- Classroom training takes place one week per month and includes both theoretical and practical components
- Learners will work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00, with possible overtime when required
- Workplace experience will be gained in an operational logistics environment
- Learners must complete the EISA examination at the end of the programme
- A monthly stipend is provided to assist with travel to the workplace site
Recruitment And Selection Process
Applicants who meet the initial requirements will go through the following selection stages:
- Panel-based, face-to-face interview at the relevant regional office
- Literacy and numeracy assessments to determine proficiency levels
- Criminal background check
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Value Group Supply Chain Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be between the ages of 21 and 29 years
- Have a Matric certificate with a minimum 50% pass rate
