Learnerships Available
Sibanye-Stillwater have Learnerships available now for Rigger Ropesman and Millwright.
Requirements for Rigger Ropesman
- Rigger/ Ropes man– required qualification subject: N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Engineering Drawings, N2 Rigger Trade Theory.
- OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Engineering and related design with at least 40% for all subjects
- Grade 12 – Mathematics, Physical Science, Drawings (engineering graphic design) relevant trade theory- with at least 40% for all subjects
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area
- Clear security screening record.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable)
Requirements for Millwright
- N2 Mathematics, N2 Engineering Science, N2 Industrial Electronics, N2 Electrical Trade Theory & N2 Fitting Including Machining Trade Theory. OR NCV Level 4: Electrical Infrastructure Construction with the following subjects: Mathematics (Min 40%), Physical Science (Min 40%), Electrical Principles and Practices, Electronic Control and Digital Electronics, Electrical Systems and Construction, Electrical Workmanship, Fitting & Turning.
- Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
- Clear security screening record.
- Valid driver’s license (if applicable).

Applicants will need to undergo an interview process and psychometric assessment.
Prospective candidates will be required to complete workplace orientation and underground exposure visits as part of the selection process.

Final Allocation is dependent on applicants obtaining an acceptance letter from the University of Johannesburg.
