Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Kitchen Manager/Chef to lead our kitchen team in ensuring the production of high-quality, innovative, and sustainable food products.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of our ethos and a commitment to using natural ingredients. They will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our recipes while driving creativity in custom orders and new product development.
As Kitchen Manager, you will be the key liaison between our production team, customers, and business owner, ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and excellent customer relations. You’ll also demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, even under pressure.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead the kitchen team in the production and quality control of all products, ensuring consistency with original recipes, taste, look, and quality.
* Coordinate orders between customers and the production team to meet specific needs, including custom orders and cake decoration.
* Oversee deliveries, ensuring seamless communication between drivers, customers, and the production team.
* Maintain open lines of communication with the business owner, staff, customers, admin, and the marketing team.
* Innovate in product development by creating new offerings, determining precise costings, and sourcing high-quality materials.
* Ensure adherence to the company’s commitment to refined sugar-free, gluten-free products and natural, sustainable decoration elements.
* Provide excellent customer service and nurture positive relationships with customers.
* Exhibit strong leadership and management skills to motivate and support the kitchen team.
* Maintain accurate and timely communication via email, WhatsApp, and other digital platforms.
* Utilize tools such as Google Suite, Canva, Trello, and Excel for efficient kitchen and order management.
* Research new product ideas and stay proactive in improving business efficiency.

Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a leadership role within a kitchen environment.
* Strong knowledge of gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and natural product cooking.
* Creativity and innovation in custom orders and product development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in computer literacy, including Office admin, Google Suite, Canva, and Trello.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
