The City of Joburg is recruiting now for their internship programme. The internship is designed to allow young residents of Joburg to gain workplace experience and complete academic requirements. These internships come with a stipend of of more than R10,100 pm.
This initiative by the City of Johannesburg is designed to help students fulfill academic or experiential training requirements while gaining real-world knowledge and skills in a government setting.
An internship programme is an intervention by the City of Johannesburg to address the growing demand by a tertiary institution for students to undergo on-the-job exposure, as a pre-requisite to acquire an academic qualification or as a requirement after the acquisition of academic qualification to obtain experiential training. The City is committed to providing work-based training for students.
This 18-month internship is a chance to learn from experienced professionals, build your CV, and open doors to future employment.
