Necsa is inviting applications for its Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Internship Programme for N6 Engineering students who need practical experience to complete their qualifications.
This opportunity, based in Pretoria, allows TVET College graduates to gain essential workplace exposure by applying their theoretical learning in a real engineering environment. The purpose of the programme is to enhance employability by helping students develop industry-ready skills before they graduate.
To qualify, applicants must be unemployed South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35. You must have completed your N6 theory at a TVET College and provide a letter from the institution confirming that you still require practical training.
Necsa is considering candidates in several fields, including Electrical Engineering with specialisations such as Electrician and Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering with areas like Fitting and Turning, Boilermaking and Welding, Civil Engineering with specialisations in Plumbing and Carpentry, and Automotive Engineering with options such as Motor Mechanic, Auto Electrician and Diesel Mechanic.
Applicants must show strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, integrity and the ability to work under pressure. You should also be able to meet deadlines, be willing to learn, think analytically and be diligent in completing your training tasks.
