Life Healthcare has opened applications for a 12-month Risk and Compliance Internship aimed at unemployed graduates who are eager to gain valuable workplace experience within a leading healthcare group.
This internship opportunity is based at the Life Healthcare Head Office in Dunkeld, Johannesburg, and is ideal for motivated young professionals looking to build a career in Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance.
About the Risk and Compliance Internship
The internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance practices within a large corporate environment. Successful candidates will work closely with the Group Risk Manager, Group Compliance Lead, Senior Enterprise Risk Managers and the Privacy Officer.
Interns will support the implementation of the Group Enterprise Risk Management Framework and the Group Compliance Framework, while contributing to the promotion of strong risk management practices and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including privacy legislation.
The internship is registered with the HWSETA and offers a monthly stipend of R6 000 for the full 12-month duration.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Be a South African citizen.
Be unemployed at the time of application.
Be under the age of 35.
Have completed a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Risk Management, Compliance Management, Financial Management or Business Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with updating risk management, compliance and privacy frameworks.
Support the effective implementation of risk and compliance strategies across the Life Healthcare Group.
Provide administrative support to the Risk and Compliance teams as required.
