Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Invoice Clerk based in Johannesburg. This permanent, full-time role offers excellent growth opportunities in sales and customer relations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in processing invoices and supporting our sales and finance teams by ensuring smooth operations in billing and invoicing. You will also help maintain and strengthen relationships with customers through excellent service and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and issue invoices for sales transactions
Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure alignment
Work closely with the sales team to track outstanding invoices
Respond to customer inquiries related to invoicing and assist in resolving discrepancies
Maintain organised records and contribute to month-end closing and sales reporting
Qualifications
Experience in invoicing or sales administration
Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and customers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software (Syspro)
Experience in the electrical wholesale industry or similar environments is advantageous
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or accounting is a plus
Duties
Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all sales-related transactions
Collaborate with the sales team to track sales and provide relevant reports
Handle customer service inquiries related to invoicing, ensuring customer satisfaction
Work with finance to resolve any discrepancies and provide necessary documentation
Support internal teams during audits and financial reporting
Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets through administrative support
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08h00 to 16h30
Salary
R15,000.00 per month
