Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Be between the ages of 18 and 34
– Be a South African citizen
– Have a minimum of a matric certificate (NQF 4), with higher certificates or diplomas (NQF 5 and 6) also accepted
– Have been unemployed for at least 6 months
– Not currently studying
– Have less than 12 months of work experience (casual or part-time work included)
– This must be your first job experience
– Must not have previously participated in the FirstJob programme or worked for FirstRand
– Have a good command of English
– No criminal record or blacklisting
– Be willing to complete a learnership while gaining work experience
