Eskom Call Centre Jobs Available: Service Agent Contact Centre Posts Open

Eskom’s Distribution Division has announced new call centre job opportunities for Service Agent Contact Centre positions within its Customer Services department.

These Eskom call centre jobs are ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills who are looking to build a career within one of South Africa’s largest state-owned enterprises.

Role Overview

The main purpose of the Service Agent Contact Centre role is to provide professional and efficient customer service using approved Eskom systems and processes. Successful candidates will engage with customers across multiple communication channels while supporting key customer service, sales and marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound customer interactions professionally and efficiently.
Manage back-office administrative tasks related to customer service.
Conduct outbound and multimedia customer engagements.
Deliver and continuously improve general customer service support.
Assist with marketing, sales and customer service processes.
Perform vending, prepaid and EasyPay-related activities.

Skills and Competencies

Applicants must demonstrate strong behavioural, technical and interpersonal competencies, including:

High levels of integrity, honesty and professionalism.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support others through coaching and mentoring.
Sound knowledge of Eskom business processes, customer tariffs and service delivery standards.
Strong computer literacy, time management and organisational skills.
Excellent communication, telephone etiquette and relationship-building abilities.
Problem-solving, analytical and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage stress effectively.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for these Eskom contact centre positions, candidates must hold:

A National Diploma or National N Diploma at NQF Level 6 with a minimum of 240 credits in one of the following fields:

Business Management
Finance
Marketing
Commerce
Social Sciences
