Stefanutti Stocks is offering a Cadet Foreman Learnership Programme for recently qualified Grade 12 learners who want to build a career in Civil Engineering. This NQF Level 4 learnership provides structured training and hands-on site experience in the earthworks and civils environment.
About the Cadet Foreman Learnership
This Civil Engineering learnership combines classroom-based theory with practical on-site training. Learners will receive mentorship while gaining real workplace exposure in construction and earthworks projects across South Africa.
Training Structure
Immersive Theory-First Training
The programme begins with an intensive classroom phase, followed by experiential on-site learning. Learners must complete Monthly Site Workbooks (SWBs), documenting practical tasks performed under supervision. Workbooks must be submitted by the end of each month to progress in the programme.
Phased Monthly Training
This structured track alternates between classroom learning and month-long site practicals. Unit standard assessments are conducted at the start of each session, and completed Site Workbooks must be submitted before returning to the classroom phase.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Matric (Grade 12) – Mathematics and/or Technical Subjects will be advantageous
• Must pass a medical fitness examination
• Will be required to complete a Learning Ability Battery assessment
• Must be fluent in English
