The Finance and Accounting Seta, Fasset, is offering generous bursaries to top performing students in Mathematics and Accounting from last year’s Matric exams who are studying a range of courses at universities.
The finance and accounting SETA is calling for top-performing learners from the 2025 Matric exams to apply for their bursary opportunities.
This bursary funding is available for students who are studying this year at universities or universities of technology towards finance and accounting-related qualifications.
This bursary is available for learners who achieved 75% or above in the matric exams of 2025, and also did well in Mathematics and Accounting.
Requirements:
Funding is only targeting learners who achieved a minimum average of 75%.
A learner must be from a combined household income not exceeding R1 000 000 per annum.
• Learners must be registered or have been accepted at a Public University or University of Technology and must be studying for a qualification within the following faculties:
- Economics Management Sciences;
- Auditing & Taxation;
- Accounting Sciences;
- IT related; and
- Actuarial Sciences
The bursary funding will be capped at R100 000 for university learners, per annum.
The bursary funding covers the following:
- Tuition Fees;
- prescribed textbooks;
- accommodation; and
- meal allowances.
