Position Overview
Learners will be trained to gather and manage information for accurate assessment of Value Added Product claims. This role provides hands-on exposure to customer service, administration, and insurance processes, while instilling Bidvest Insurance’s core values through everyday work practices.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver exceptional service to policyholders and handle all queries related to claims and policy benefits.
– Accurately capture and validate claim information.
– Verify policy status and premiums to ensure claims can be processed.
– Collect and attach all required supporting documents to claims systems.
– Manage queries from clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
– Process refunds and payments where necessary.
– Provide clear correspondence on claims outcomes and requirements.
– Ensure all developments and interactions are properly recorded in the system.
– Handle telephonic queries professionally and efficiently.
– Apply the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in all customer interactions.
Minimum Requirements
– A National Senior Certificate (Matric).
– Computer literacy (essential).
– Strong administrative and customer service skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
